5 Ways to Charge Crystals
Crystals are a lot like people in that they can’t keep working non-stop without a break. They’ll soon become tired and weighed down by the energy of others. Charging crystals rejuvenates them and gives them an energy boost much like a holiday does for humans.
Here are my Top 5 Ways to Charge Crystals
1. Moonlight
Crystals love a moon bath! Place them outside or on your windowsill under the full or waxing moon overnight. If outside ensure that they will be safe from the elements and any night time critters.
2. Sunlight
Crystals can be charged in the sun but I only recommend putting them in the sun for 30 minutes during sunrise or sunset. Avoid the full midday sun as this can cause some crystals to lose their colour. Also remember that most crystals came from deep within the Earth so they prefer not to be in the bright sunlight.
3. Earth
Bury your crystal in the Earth for up to 12 hours. If you live in an apartment or don’t have a backyard you can bury the crystal in a pot of soil. This method is only recommended for crystals that can be placed in water due to the Earth’s moisture.
4. Cluster
A Quartz cluster or druze that has been programmed for charging can be used to charge smaller crystals. Simply place the crystal on the cluster for 24 hours and leave undisturbed.
5. Sound
Crystals love music just as much as we do. But steer clear of the heavy metal and techno! Chanting, classical music, Tibetan bowls or a Shamanic drum will not only charge the crystal but clear the energy. To charge the crystal strike or play the instrument over and around the crystal.
If your crystals are being used a lot for healing they will need to be charged on a monthly basis. Otherwise if they’re only being used every so often, charging them a few times a year will suffice.
